The Radio Buoy "KTR-18" is a compact
and light weight radio buoy. It is extensively used in fishing
industry at Taiwan. With this radio buoy attached to the Long Line
or Fishing Nets, or Captured Whales, the exact position can be
detected easily by the Radio Direction Finder.
The Radio Buoy Prevents the Long Line, Drift Net and other
Fishing Nets from being carried away and also makes it possible to
use a series of Long Line or Nets at the same time. The Radio Buoy
thus increases the efficiency of the fishery.
